Dressing as Queen Elizabeth, Rachel talks about each item of clothing or jewellery, bringing in relevant information about its historical and social context.
30th March 2019  Speaker  – My Journey in Textiles – To Infinity and Beyond Melanie Missin Keating Mell has been sewing and crafting for over 40 years moving from quilting into textile art.
13th April 2019 All day workshop –  Elizabethan sampler  or Hedgerow

International textile artists Kay and Michael Dennis. Total cost of workshop including pack £30.00 Enjoy a day in the fascinating and intricate world of stumpwork with Kay and Michael
27th April 2019 In House – Getting the Myriorama project off the ground Materials will be supplied Members of the Exec Group project to produce our own Myriorama

Sue Baughan  You have seen Sue’s samples  – this is the opportunity to learn how to be creative with napkins and teabags
8th June 2019 All day workshop – Texture Adventures

The tutor will provide a pack of all materials for each student at a cost of £6 in a variety of colourways

Creating a textured surface in textiles using felt, fabric, sheers, lutradur and other materials to stitch and burn to create a variety of textures. Machine stitching and hand embellishment.
