Structural Flowers – part 1
Participants will spend the day producing Different types of flower forms evident in my current work. Working with a diverse selection of fabrics we will free machine nets, velvets and silks onto water soluble fabrics, and then manipulate the forms whilst wet. The 3-d techniques taught can be then utilised by the individual into their own structural work such as wall hangings and vessels.

Starting with the premise that a workbook can become a work of art in its own right, we will use a variety of techniques and materials to prepare, alter and customise a small spiral bound workbook. Pages will be coloured, shaped, edged and adorned in readiness for your own samples and projects

Reversible Table Runner
This piecing technique enables you to piece and quilt the table runner in one step. All you have left to do is embellish with whatever you wish, maybe embroidery or beading. Tassels on the points look good. This quilting must be done by sewing machine, not by hand.
